These steel pull-out steps are built to last with a 300 lb weight capacity and a solid black powder coat that resists rust over time. Each of the three steps has a 7" rise, giving a comfortable climb that feels stable and natural. They’re a dependable upgrade when your old steps have seen too many miles or taken one too many bumps.
The 25-3/4" wide x 8-3/4" deep steps have anti-skid tread tape and built-in water collection channels with drain holes. Rain won’t pool on the surface, and the textured treads keep you steady even when conditions are wet. It’s the kind of detail that makes every entry and exit feel more secure.
The manual pull-out design opens and closes smoothly with one hand. A grab handle makes it simple to deploy without getting fingers near moving parts. When you’re done, the steps slide back under the frame for travel and stay tucked out of the way until you need them again.
The mounting bracket measures 27-1/2" wide x 14" tall x 12" deep, designed to bolt or weld directly to the frame. The bolt holes are 26-1/4" wide x 7" deep on center. For most users, the steps line up easily with existing brackets to replace factory units and fit entry heights from 24-1/2" to 27-1/2".
The heavy-duty steel frame is protected by a black powder-coat finish that holds up to road debris and moisture. With its simple, proven design and a 1-year warranty, this step assembly provides a long-term fix that feels solid every time you climb aboard.

The steps on the 2014 Winnebago travel trailer had rusted-out due to the spring-loaded pieces of grey non skid carpet always being wet in the stowed position. This replacement was a very simple bolt in with a good fitting bolt pattern and easy fold out operation. Of course you should stay on top of it with a little touch-up paint here and there cuz it's going to want the rust in the hinges and wear points but that is to be expected. Good product and I would recommend it
We ordered new steps from etrailer for our 5th wheel when the metal tore on one side of our existing steps. We had done our homework - checked others sites. The difference - etrailer had the replacement steps in stock at a better price than most and answered my questions. The steps arrived as promised. Instructions were clear and the install was easy. I was able to do it without help.

It fits great! Very happy with my new steps. Also very happy to have it shipped to me so fast.
Works fine. One issue is that there is no way to lock it in place. I have to use a strap to hold it. Just don't want to lose another step.

We have sold the RV that I had purchased the steps for and just hung onto them. The RV that we replaced it with has a little better steps so I haven't installed the Solid Step on this one. I still may do it but this RV is a little higher off the ground so I don't know if the 3 step unit is going to be tall enough. The Lippert Solid Step is definitely an upgrade for anyone that has the manual pull out steps on their unites.

We have not used the steps on our newer 5th wheel because the steps are about a 14 too wide for the doorway. I still would recomend the Solid Step for anyone wanting to to upgrade their entrance steps. They are have a greater tread depth than most standard steps. They are more stable seeing as they are contacting the ground.
Had to make a slight modification to the mounting bracket on the trailer. Steps are a perfect replacement. Like the ease of operation. Good choice of steps. Very quick service. Ordered on Monday arrived on Wednesday afternoon.

We have a bunkhouse Cruiser Aire. My wife had polio as a young girl and has problems getting up and down stairs, She is 72 and it became near impossible for her to access the RV. I built her some stairs from lumber and they worked alright, But it also gave me some added chores with a lot of straining to move them from the back to the door for her at every stop. I was absolutely surprised when I discovered the lippert steps with the shorter 6.5" rise. Believe me rise in steps is extremely important to handicapped people. These new steps have given new meaning to access for her. We are very happy we found Lippert steps through E-Trailer! We are going to buy another set next year for the rear door of the trailer. Perfect! Would do it again without hesitation! I will say, the box had me worried.
When I ordered the steps, the gal on the phone was so helpful to make sure I ordered the correct size to fit our trailer. They arrived in a few days and my husband was able to install them even though he's not mechanical inclined without any problems! I highly recommend this company and if I ever need anything I will try then first!!!

I had not seen a set of LCI fold up stairs installed on a step van and George was a lot of help with info I needed. I purchased a used set in case it didn't work and they turned out perfect.
Trailer not required. Steps completed a stairway to the baptisamal.

Great! No problems. My ideal would have been a 4 step with 7” rise to accomodate a handicapped person but I don’t believe they are manufactured. I purchased a portable adjustable step for the first step up to the new step.
The steps were exactly as described. Easy to install and a perfect fit on my 2006 Montana 3400RL 5th wheel. Shipping was fast and free.
Turned out very well. I killed my old two-step on a close gate post (caused by my mental vacancy) and wanted to replace it with a three step. I had raised 5th wheel significantly for back country travel. This worked out well with some slicing and dicing of metal, and some extra brackets. Delivered in good time and a reasonably well made product.
The universal fit was not. the steps required some modification that the average person would not be able to accomplish with just hand tools. Once installed the top two steps were level and solid feeling but the bottom step has an upward tilt.
Order came on time and was an exact fit. The video with the dimensions was what I needed to make sure it was the right one.

I bought a used fifth wheel that had a broken step on it, so I googled my trailers info and etrailer.com came up with the part number and price, ordered it and got it in four days and in a half hours time with my wife’s help we had it installed using a couple blocks of wood and 2x4.
It feels nice and safe now.
